I parked next to an running Allroad
What I can infer from your wording here is that the sentence started out as “an Allroad” but then you felt obliged to clarify that it was running, accidentally omitting the small change in the indefinite article from “an” to “a”. This implies that our natural tendency is to believe Allroads are not normally running.
Also, are you sure they haven’t been sitting in that parking lot since last March?

Yeah, that happens to me all the time. I edit something I wrote, and create an mistake and and leave it behind.
The one closest to the camera had someone in it when we got there, so at least one arrived under its own power.

My point was you were subtly accurate :D
I joke about Audis, but my little “Allroad junior” Passat 4motion is still reliably getting me to work every day, despite a half-plugged heater core and a couple leaking diffs that aren’t worth fixing...yet.

Based on my experience, 90% of them are located in Colorado so that improves the odds a bit. Seriously, I live in a city with over a million people and see an allroad maybe once a year. Then I go to visit my brother-in-law outside of Aspen and and see on in practically every parking lot.
Congrats on the purchase by the way. Even if it has a few issues, you got it for a good price and who knows when another manual will pop up on the market (outside of Colorado anyway).
